Hey! I’m Ráchel - a playwright, performance artist, and activist. I am currently finishing my studies in Theatre Dramaturgy and Playwriting at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, and I’m genuinely excited about whatever art brings into my life after graduation!
Based in Bratislava, I create art pieces for radio, mostly independent theatre and work on Gen Z-focused dramaturgy.

ALIBI (playwright)
As part of YOUNG EUROPE V., a co-production by the European Theatre Convention and the Slovak National Theatre – Drama Department, I’m developing a classroom play that explores the Dramaturgy of Care.
A project rooted in listening, responsibility, and being together.
Season 2026/2027
FLOATERS (co-playwright & dramaturgy)
Together with the independent theatre DPM (Theatre of Peter Mankovecký), I’m working on Floaters — a play inspired by Bulgakov and the current social and political atmosphere in Slovakia.
A piece that drifts between absurdity, unease, and reality.

PENTHESILEA (playwright)
For my diploma project, I’m rewriting Penthesilea by Heinrich von Kleist, weaving in Lacanian theory through a feminist lens.
This is a text I hope to direct myself one day - a long-term love and obsession.
